BGA has grown from a one-man practice in 1983 to be one of the preeminent search firms on the West Coast dedicated exclusively to the placement of attorneys. With five full-time professionals, we have worked with virtually every prominent law firm in California. In addition to servicing the more traditional legal practices (corporate, litigation, real estate, tax, labor, entertainment, etc.), we have active national practices in intellectual property (patent, trademark, copyright, multi-media, etc.) and environmental law. We have also worked with firms to hire attorneys in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Moscow, and other overseas venues.

Over the years we have completed mergers of Los Angeles firms with out of state firms and we have also moved prominent partners and practice groups.

In addition, in the history of Barry Goldberg and Associates, we have a track record of never concluding a retained search until our client is satisfied. Consequently we do not accept or pursue retained relationships until after careful analysis we conclude our resources are best suited for any given search.
